3 crushed dead, others injure by truck in Bangladesh

Bangladesh: Three people were killed when a drum truck carrying sand hit a pickup van parked in Netrokona. Two others were injured.

The accident took place at Challisa Bagra Bazar area of ​​Sadar upazila on Netrokona-Mymensingh highway on Saturday morning.

The deceased, Dharamapasa upazila of Sunamganj village green jinligara Rony Miah Miah (0), the nephew of the Greens and Shafique Miah Babu Miah (14) and the driver of the village in Chandrapur district barhatta abucana Mia (28)

injured were identified as Anwar Miah green Mia (18) and Johnny Mia (14).

It is learned that a pick-up van was going to Konabari in Gazipur from Gachatala Bazar of Dharmapasha upazila of Sunamganj at around 4 am.

On the way, the wheel of the pickup van got stuck in the Challisa Bagra Bazar area of ​​Netrokona-Mymensingh road. When the driver tried to repair it, he pushed a sand-laden drum truck coming from behind. Two fish traders including the driver died on the spot. Two more fish traders were injured. Locals rescued the injured and admitted them to Mymensingh Medical College Hospital.

Netrokona Model Police Station OC Khandaker Shaker Ahmed said Netrokena Model Police Station and Shyamganj Highway Police recovered the bodies and kept them in the morgue of Mymensingh Medical College Hospital for autopsy. A case is being prepared at the police station.
