The Delta State Chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has declared Elvis Ayomanor, the party’s former state deputy chairman, an impostor for claiming to be the party’s acting chairman.
The party claimed in a statement signed by Nick Ovuakporie, director of Publicity, and authorised by Prophet Jones Erue, state chairman, Caretaker Committee, that the case of Ayomanor will act as a deterrence to such anti-party moles.
The party, which compared Ayomanor’s assertion to a Nollywood script acted by a confused impostor and PDP agent who makes a livelihood off scandals, vowed to maintain party discipline against anyone who violates the express requirements of the APC constitution, regardless of their position.
Elvis Ayomanor’s claim to be acting chairman was also described as “laughable” in the party statement.
Elvis Ayomanor’s bogus claim to the role of acting chairman of the party is equally ludicrous, according to the statement.
Members of the fourth estate of the realm were also urged to demand that Ayomanor provide the letter naming him as either deputy state chairman or acting chairman of the APC Caretaker Committee in Delta State.
