Cristiano Ronaldo has stated that he will press Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer to start him against Newcastle United.
On Saturday, the 36-year-old might make his second appearance for United at Old Trafford.
“Of course, I’ll be scared on Saturday, but I’m older and wiser now.
“I’m going to be ready. I’m going to put some pressure on Ole to get into the starting eleven right now! Ronaldo told MUTV, “I’m ready to go.”
“People speak about my age, but they should understand – and they know – that I’m different, that I’m different from the rest of the people,” Ronaldo said of those concerned about his ability to deliver in the Premier League again.
“I show off all the time, year by year, and this year will be the same, I know it 100 percent.”
