The Oyo State House of Assembly has approved Governor Seyi Makinde’s nominations for ten commissioners.
On Wednesday, lawmakers gave their approval to the nominees’ nomination.
Makinde supplied the names to our correspondent a few days ago, according to our correspondent.
The list, which was submitted to the House on September 22nd, included the names of five returning Commissioners and five new ones, according to the DAILY POST.
Dr. Wasiu Olatunbosun, Mr Seun Fakorede, Mr Adeniyi Adebisi, Mr Olasunkanmi Olaleye, and Mr Abdulrahman Abdulrahim were among them.
Mr Abiodun Oni, Prof Misbau Babatunde, Mr Segun Olayiwola, Dr Bode Ladipo, and Alhaja Kafilat Omolabake Olayiwola are the other five new Commissioner designations vetted by lawmakers.
The legislators stated that the nominees were qualified to serve as State Commissioners.
After that, the legislators unanimously agreed that they should all take a bow.
While speaking, the Speaker of the State House of Assembly, Adebo Ogundoyin, challenged the Commissioner-designates to justify the Governor’s faith in them.
Ogundoyin urged them to back Makinde’s initiative.
