Police boss charges monarchs on National unity in Anambra

Commissioner of Police, Tony Olofu has charged traditional rulers to use their position to promote national unity and peace in the country, especially in their various communities in Anambra State.

The Police Public Relation Officer, DSP Tochukwu Ikenga in his release, said the C.P Olofu gave the charge during his meeting with the tradition rulers at the Government House, Awka.

The Police boss while addressing the traditional rulers, sought for their cooperation and charged them to use their position to open channel of communication to their people to promote national interet.

Speaking on behalf of the traditional rulers, the Obi of Onitsha, who is also the Chairman Traditional Rulers Council in Anambra state, HRM, Igwe Nnaemeka Alfred Achebe, commended the Commissioner of Police and pledge their support to the command and other security agencies in the State.
