Adamu Sime, an immigrant from Benin Republic, was detained by Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps agents in Kwara State for allegedly having carnal knowledge of his biological mother.
The mother, who was also detained, had three children for her son, according to reports.
Babawale Afolabi, the NSCDC’s Public Relations Officer for the Kwara State Command, confirmed the event in a statement released on Saturday in llorin.
“One Mallam Bandede, the district head of Mose community in Kaima, reported the incestuous conduct being perpetrated by one Adamu Sabi Sime and his mother, Fati Sime, of the same village on Thursday, September 9, 2021,” he said.
“In Kaima, men from the intelligence unit and NSCDC agents sprung into action, and the investigation revealed that the mother (Fati) had three children in addition to her biological son.
“Further investigation found that the accused’s younger brother, who was also verified to be sleeping with the mother, is now on the loose.
“The woman and her two sons do not even have the requisite documents to be in Nigeria and have been handed over to the Nigeria Immigration Service for further investigation and action.”
