President Muhammadu Buhari will present the National Assembly with the 2022 allocation budget on Thursday of this week.
This was revealed by Deputy Senate President Ovie Omo-Agege during the session on Tuesday.
In the absence of Senate President Dr. Ahmad Ibrahim Lawan, Omo-Agege presided over the plenary. The reason for Lawan’s absence was not revealed during Tuesday’s congressional session.
Because of the 9th National Assembly’s January to December fiscal budgetary policy, the budget presentation came early enough.
President Buhari presented the N10.8 trillion budget for 2021 on October 8, 2020, allowing parliament to pass the bill into law in time for implementation in January 2021.
