Mohamed Salah has been crowned the finest player in Europe by Liverpool star Jamie Carragher.
He urged the club to do all possible to get a fresh deal for the Egypt international.
Carragher was commenting after Salah scored a spectacular goal in a 2-2 draw with Manchester City on Sunday.
Salah, who also set up Sadio Mane’s opener, has now scored in seven straight games for Liverpool, equaling his longest scoring streak and becoming only the fourth player in Liverpool history to achieve 100 Premier League goals.
“At the moment, I don’t believe anyone in the world or Europe is playing better.

“At the start of the season, he had an absolutely incredible record.
On Sky Sports, Carragher stated, “You can never really criticise him for what he’s done at Liverpool – if at all – but right now is probably as sharp and as brilliant as I’ve ever seen him.”
