Liberia ‘s government has deported four Nigerians who were convicted of bank robbery.
Onuegbu Frank Chidozie (40), Francis Ezeji (32), Chukwu Ago (44) and Kingsley Okoro (44) are the members (40).
At the 13th Judicial Circuit Court, they were tried under Sections 14.32 and 50.5 of the Liberian Penal Code.
On December 14, 2010, the court sentenced the gang members to ten years in jail.
The group broke into an Ecobank branch in Kakata, Margibi County, and stole items and cash totaling $207,799.
The trio has been dubbed “undesirable foreigners” by Justice Minister Frank Musa Dean.
Dean directed Liberia Immigration Service (LIS) Commisoner-General, Robert Budy to remove them.
