Victor Osimhen, a striker for the Super Eagles of Nigeria and Napoli of Italy, has asked fans to teach their parents and children to appreciate all people and to avoid racial discrimination.
In Napoli’s 2-1 win against Fiorentina at Artemio Franchi Stadium on Saturday, October 2, the Edo striker, as well as Kalidou Koulibaly of Senegal and Andre-Frank Zambo Anguissa of Cameroon, were racially harassed.

Despite the positive outcome, Osimhen was harassed throughout the match, and he has now spoken out about it, asking people on Twitter to join him in the battle against racism.
“Speak to your children and parents about how repulsive it is to despise someone because of the color of their skin. Racism is not tolerated “On Twitter, the striker pleaded.The 22-year-old has been in excellent form recently, scoring seven goals in his previous six matches across all competitions, and is currently the best goal scorer in Serie A.
