On Thursday, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) announced that the sale of nomination forms for national officials for the October 30–31 National Convention has been extended from the previously stated date of Friday, October 15, 2021, to Sunday, October 17, 2021.
Kola Ologbondiyan, the National Publicity Secretary, stated this in a statement.
The deadline for submitting duly completed forms has also been extended from Saturday, October 16 to Tuesday, October 19, 2021, according to Kola, who is also the Secretary of the National Convention Publicity Sub-Committee.
As a result, the date for aspirants for various national positions to be screened has been moved to Wednesday, October 20, 2021, with the hearing of appeals arising from the Screening Exercise being set for Saturday, October 23, 2021.
The National Convention will take place from Saturday, October 30 through Sunday, October 31, 2021, according to the statement.
“By this statement, all hopefuls, leaders, essential stakeholders, and thronging members of our great party are guided accordingly,” he stated.
