Rio Ferdinand, a former England international defender, has chosen Mohamed Salah, a Liverpool attacker, as the greatest player in the Premier League so far this season.
Following the Egyptian’s single goal in Liverpool’s 2-2 draw with Manchester City on Sunday, he made the decision.
Salah has six goals in his first seven Premier League games, including a 2-1 lead for Liverpool at Anfield on Sunday before Kevin De Bruyne’s equalizer.
Salah is currently the best player in the league, according to Ferdinand, a former Manchester United player.

“In the first half, Liverpool couldn’t break through and City could have had two or three goals; I think City will be unhappy not to win and Liverpool will be satisfied with a draw.”
