PSG warns Real Madrid over lack of respect from players

Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) has warned that they would no longer tolerate Real Madrid’s lack of respect for them and their player, Kylian Mbappe.

PSG sporting director, Leonardo Araújo, claimed this, alluding to many comments made by Real Madrid about their desire to pursue Mbappe.

In an interview with L’Equipe, Leonardo remarked, “This is another evidence of the lack of respect for PSG and Mbappe.”

“In reality, a Real Madrid player [Karim Benzema], the Real Madrid coach [Carlo Ancelotti], and now the president [Florentino Perez] all speak about Kylian as if he were already one of their own in the same week. I repeat: we will not tolerate this lack of respect.”

Perez, the president of Real Madrid, reportedly told El Debate that the French international will join the club in January.

Mbappe recently stated that he sought the Ligue 1 giants for permission to depart during the previous transfer window, but they refused.
