MOSCOW, 10 OCTOBER – According to the RIA news agency, an L-410 jet crashed in a city in Tatarstan area on Sunday, killing 16 people and injuring seven others.

The plane was transporting a party of parachute jumpers, according to the TASS news agency, according to the Emergencies Ministry. According to the report, seven passengers were rescued alive from the wreckage.

The plane in question was a Let L-410 Turbolet, a twin-engine short-range transport plane.
