The Campaign Team of the Governorship candidate of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), has denied an involvement of a former Commander of the disbanded Special Anti Robbery Squad (SARS) in Anambra State, James Nwafor in its campaign trail.

The group debunked this: “Mr Nwafor is never the Chief Security Officer of Prof Chukwuma Soludo Campaign organisation”.

The Head Soludo Media Team, Mazi Ejimofor Opara, who refuted this in Awka, said the allegation was geared toward distracting Prof Soludo from implementing his contract with Ndi Anambra.

Opara explained: “Our attention has been drawn to a misleading tweet where, it was alleged that one Mr James Nwafor is the Chief Security Officer of Prof. Charles Chukwuma Soludo, the gubernatorial candidate of APGA.

“This allegation is untrue and quite mischievous. We, therefore, call on our teeming supporters to disregard the fake news, as the opposition is doing all that is possible to discredit the intimidating support base of Soludo.
