Ego, who had been ill for some time, was transported to the hospital for treatment but was freed the same day.
Ego’s health has reportedly deteriorated, according to a source.
Her body was discovered in her flat by her neighbors, according to reports.
Ego was brought to a hospital on September 18, 2021, according to a resident named Abikoya, before being found dead the next day at her apartment.“Her body was taken away by the police and deposited at the Mainland General Hospital’s mortuary in Yaba for an autopsy,” the source said.
In another event, the family of Abdulmaliki Jamiu, a two-year-old boy, has been thrown into sorrow when his body was discovered in a canal on Awolowo Street in Lagos’ Amukoko neighborhood.
Abdulmaliki was in his mother’s shop on Awolowo Street when he went missing at 5.35 p.m., according to Metro, and his mother’s efforts to trace him proved futile.

A source told our correspondent that the body was discovered in a canal on Awolowo Street during the search.
“What we got was that the boy’s father, Jamiu Mufutawu, reported his son missing, and after they conducted a search for him in the neighborhood, his body was discovered in a canal near his mother’s shop,” the source said.
“It’s been suggested that the kid may have fallen into the canal while attempting to cross a nearby bridge. On September 9, 2021, his parents reported the event to the police, but his remains were discovered on September 10, 2021.”
According to Metro, there were no signs of assault on the body.
