Yobe: Corp members pays Royal homage to the Emir

The Emir of Pataskum, His Royal Highness Alhaji Umaru Bubaram Wuriwa Bauya has charged Corp members to brace up and explore the nooks and corners of Nigeria so as to be acquainted with the current socio-political realities of the nation.

He made this know when Youth Corp members undergoing the one year mandatory National Service paid him a royal homage on Tuesday, 12th October, 2021 in his palace in Potiskum, Yobe State.

The Emir called on the Corp members to make maximum use of their time during the service year by building bridges of friendship across regional, ethnic and religious divides because the youths are the leaders of tomorrow.

He further welcomed the corp members to Yobe State and advised them to feel at home, having seen for themselves the realities on ground as against what they might have heard before embarking on the national assignment. The primary assignment before you is to come, see and conquer, he added.

He prayed for the restoration of peace in all parts of Nigeria and equally prayed for a hitch free service year for the corp members.
