MrBeast, a YouTube sensation, has chosen to take the Squid Game to the next level.
MrBeast, who has over 76.2 million subscribers on YouTube, posted a video of a real-life recreation of the Netflix series Squid Game. To take things a step further, he asked 456 players to fight for a $456,00 cash reward.
The iconic Red Light-Green Light, Marbles, and the infamous Glass Bridge are among the games replicated by MrBeast.
The YouTuber said that he spent $1.5 million on prizes and $2 million on production and set.
The popular Korean drama series has since become a hit, topping Netflix’s most-watched list. In its first 28 days, the series had 111 million viewers, surpassing ‘Bridgerton,’ which had 82 million viewers.
