NYC: Jacqueline Avant reportedly killed in heinous heist

Jacqueline Avant, the wife of music superstar Clarence Avant, was reportedly shot and killed in a heinous heist at their Beverly Hills home.

According to TMZ, the home invasion took place in Beverly Hills’ Trousdale Estates, a high-end enclave.

According to the outlet, police responded to a home invasion call at 2.30 a.m. on Tuesday night; the caller told the dispatcher that someone had been shot.

By the time cops arrived on the scene, Jacquline had supposedly been transferred to a nearby hospital.

Clarence was at home at the time of the event, according to a family source.

At this moment, it is uncertain whether he was injured.

The Netflix original documentary “The Black Godfather” is about Clarence, who was elected into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 2021.

From his connections to Louis Armstrong’s longtime manager Joe Glaser to his ties to Al Capone, who helped Clarence establish his career, the documentary looks at Clarence’s life.

Nicole Avant, who also produced the film, is married to Ted Sarandos, the CEO of Netflix.
