Rehabilitate roads in honour of fmr first Lady – Group charges Obiano

Human Rights Activists under the umbrella of Coalition of Civil Society Organisations have called on Governor Willie Obiano of Anambra State to quickly Ichida -Igboukwu road in honour of late Mrs Njideka Ezife, who was the wife of the former Governor of Anambra State, Chief Pius Ezife.

The group made the call when it visited Chief Ezife to commiserates with him over the demise of his enviable wife at his country side Igboukwu Aguata Local Government.

The group noted that Chief Dr. Pius Ezeife played indispensable roles towards conduct of Anambra 2021 governorship election and always bear the interest and social welfare of the people at heart.

Comrade Vincent Ezekwueme leader of the delegation and National Convener described late Mrs Njideka Ezeife as a rare and unique gift to humanity, called on political Class to emulate sacrificial life of late Mrs Ezeife .

He said, “She was a symbol of humility, God fearing, selfless, compassion, forgiveness, transparency and his humanitarian disposition remain unequal.

” She was a devoted Christian, dedicated mother, wife, public servant, who lived and died for God and humanity.

” His excellency Chief Dr Pius Ezeife and siblings should take solace for the fact, she lived selfless, courageous, remarkable, outstanding and commendable life worthy of emulation.

” Kindly Sir, accept our sincere heartfelt condolences,sympathies and prayers at this moment of grieve and sorrow.

“We pray for eternal repose of her gentle and humble soul and for God to give His Excellency, siblings and all those pained by her death grace and fortitude to bear and endure the irreparable and irreplaceable loss.
