Delta Youths Storm Police Station with Man’s Body Allegedly Killed Over N100 Bribe

Angry youths in Delta state stormed the state police command headquarters on Wednesday, April 5, carrying the body of a young man allegedly shot dead over a “N100 bribe” along the Ugbolu-Asara road.

The deceased man, identified as a phone seller in the popular Ogbeogonogo market, was allegedly killed by a state police officer for refusing to pay a bribe of N100.

The demonstrators want justice for the slain phone dealer. They have vowed to continue mobilizing youths for protests until justice is served.
