Alex Otti, the incoming governor of Abia State, has declared that nothing can prevent him from taking the oath of office on May 29.

When receiving the report from the Transition Council, which was formed last month to help him determine the direction of his administration, the Governor-elect stated that he was already prepared to assume the reins of power in the state.

The incoming governor claimed that his legal team was already handling the matter and that his main concern was getting things started as soon as he was sworn in.

“I can assure you that my attorneys are taking action, but I don’t believe there is cause for concern. But what is essential is constant watchfulness.

required when there are enemies nearby.

So, I’d like to reassure you that the Abia people’s mandate is inviolable. Nobody ought to have insomnia. We will be sworn in on May 29th, and after our four years are up, we will ask for the extension of the mandate. You can count on the Abia people to extend the mandate, we will serve another four years, and the Abia people will be content thanks to God’s grace.

Otti claimed the council had made his job incredibly simple.

The Managing Director of PWC, Mr. Victor Onyenkpa, and Mrs. Ifueko, the former Executive Chairman of Nigeria’s Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS), are in charge of the 101-member Council.

Omogui-Okaru.

“After hearing the Chairman’s presentation, I will say that thanks to the work you did, this job has been made incredibly simple. Granted, some of the things you’ve suggested are things we’ve already discussed, but many of them are also brand-new. Even the topics we have discussed have become clearer and more focused thanks to you.

Thus, implementation is made simpler. I must thank each and every one of you.

I appreciate the time and effort you put into this, and I want to thank you for it. I want to express my gratitude for your selfless work. I am aware of how valuable your time is.

You can be confident that we won’t treat the work you’ve put into this casually.

He promised, “I can assure you that you will also be very proud that your suggestions will be put into action.

Regarding his intentions to establish a Ministry for Aba’s development, Otti stated that he would reevaluate the nomenclature in accordance with the council’s recommendation to redesignate it out of concern that a ministry with its bureaucratic red tape might undermine the admirable goal of the Aba renewal agenda.

“I agree with you when you say that the creation of a Ministry may be necessary when we talk about disruption, the digital economy, and Aba,” is not the solution, we’ll go and look at it again. The reality is that I want an agency that will report directly to me, that is in charge of Aba.
