Manchester United has joined the competition to sign Paris Saint-Germain’s Neymar Jr.
The Brazilian international is reportedly the subject of negotiations with the former Premier League champions.
PSG are reportedly ‘not opposed’ to the Brazilian’s departure, according to French premier outlet L’Equipe.
According to the report, the French team’s hierarchy is eager to let the Brazilian leave the club in the French capital.
The French champions are reportedly assembling a “more balanced team” around Kylian Mbappe, so the departure of Neymar would cede Kylian Mbappe the title of undisputed No. 1 player.
According to the French publication, Manchester United is the favorite to sign him.
Two years are left on Neymar’s contract, and this means he will not come cheap, despite PSG’s willingness to sell.
