Pep Guardiola, the manager of Manchester City, has insisted he will stay in his position regardless of the outcome of an investigation into the team’s alleged violations of Premier League financial rules.
Guardiola, however, urged an expedited conclusion to the situation.
City was accused of violating financial regulations more than 100 times between 2009/2010 and 2017/2018, and their case was referred to an impartial commission in February.
The newly crowned winners categorically refute the accusations.
