Chris Sutton, a former player for Chelsea, asserted that if Roberto de Zerbi took over as the Blues’ manager in place of Mauricio Pochettino, his former team would have a chance to win the Premier League championship next season.
According to numerous reports, Pochettino will succeed interim manager Frank Lampard at the conclusion of the current campaign.
Sutton, however, thinks that choosing De Zerbi over Pochettino will be better for Chelsea.
We would all say that Chelsea has a chance to win the Premier League if De Zerbi were offered the position at Chelsea, wouldn’t we? I know Pochettino is taking over at Chelsea. On the BBC, Sutton said.
