Three people have been detained in Spain as a result of racial slurs directed at Real Madrid player Vinicius Junior during a La Liga game.
Vinicius Junior was dismissed as a result of the racist abuse incident that happened to him on Sunday during Real Madrid’s 1-0 loss to Valencia.
The game was stopped in the second half for ten minutes after Vinicius complained to the referee about the crowd.
According to a statement from the Spanish police, “three young people were arrested today in Valencia for the racist behavior that took place last Sunday during the Valencia-Real Madrid match.”
