Hotelier Adedoyin is given the death penalty for the murder of Adegoke, an OAU student.

Owner of the Hilton Hotel in Ile Ife, Osun State, Dr. Rahman Adedoyin, was found guilty of murdering Timothy Adegoke, a master’s student at Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU) Ile-Ife. He was given the death penalty.

Along with Adedoyin, two other hotel employees, Adeniyi Aderogba and Oyetunde Kazeem, were also given the death penalty for the murder of Timothy Adegoke, a master’s candidate at Ile-Ife, Osun State’s Obafemi Awolowo University.

Magdalene Chiefuna, Lawrence Oluwole, and Adedji Adesola, three additional defendants in the case, were released and found not guilty of all of the charges brought against them by the prosecution.

The court determined that the alleged offenses against them did not no go in tandem with the evidence elicited by the prosecution.
