David Adeleke, a Grammy-winning artist from Nigeria better known by his stage name Davido, has described how his wife Chioma Rowland first rejected his sexual attempts toward her.
Davido claimed he first met Chioma while the two were students at Babcock University in Osun State in a conversation with vlogger Tayo Aina.
He claimed that he fell in love with her at first sight and that he ordered one of his assistants to call her for him the moment he laid eyes on her, but Chioma refused.
He spoke.
“I was driving a Prado when I noticed this female walking behind me. Chioma was standing there by herself with her suitcase.
“I told Lati omo that I like that girl; please call her for me,” he said. She did not respond when he called her at the time.
However, the leader of the 30 Billion Gang claimed that Chioma later arrived in Lagos and the two of them teamed up.
The pair wed soon after their son Ifeanyi perished in the singer’s swimming pool at his Banana Island house last year.
