According to RMC, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has agreed to join Marseille after leaving Chelsea.
Since joining the Blues in a £12 million deal from Barcelona last September, the 34-year-old has had a dreadful time.
Aubameyang arrived just days before Thomas Tuchel, with whom he had a close relationship after their time together at Borussia Dortmund, was fired, and went on to score just three goals in 21 games.
Graham Potter then left him out of Chelsea’s Champions League team.
Aubameyang has been linked with a move to Saudi Arabia, but he now wants to return to France.
The former Arsenal captain has signed to a two-year contract extension with Marseille, with a third season option.
The Ligue 1 club is now negotiating with the Blues to allow the striker to leave on a free transfer.
