Ronaldo’s remarks come just days after his lifelong rival Lionel Messi agreed to join Inter Miami.
Messi departed PSG as a free agent this summer, turning down a move to Saudi Arabia, where he would have rekindled his rivalry with Ronaldo.
Ronaldo, on the other hand, feels he made the wiser decision, citing the fact that players are flocking to the Middle East as proof.
“The Saudi league is superior to the MLS.”
“I paved the way to the Saudi league… and now all the players are coming here,” remarked Ronaldo.
