Mmesoma Ejikeme, a 19-year-old candidate in the 2023 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) accused of result falsification by the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB), has apologized to the examination board for her actions.
She read an apology letter during an investigation session held by the House of Representatives Ad hoc Committee to investigate the matter, which was chaired by Sada Soli.
She begged forgiveness, promising that this would not happen again.
She claimed that she had never been involved in examination malpractice in her entire life.
According to the Nation, the JAMB Registrar, Prof Isiaka Oloyede, was present during the hearing.
