According to the Daily Record, former Manchester United goalkeeper David de Gea has turned down the opportunity to replace Andre Onana at Inter Milan.
Onana joined Manchester United from Inter Milan on Thursday.
Meanwhile, De Gea was released as a free agent by Manchester United earlier this month.
Wherever he goes next, the Spaniard wants an after-tax income of €10 million.
Inter reportedly offered De Gea half the money, which the shot-stopper declined.
De Gea was Manchester United’s first-choice goalkeeper throughout his entire 12-year tenure at Old Trafford.
The 32-year-old appeared in 545 games for the Red Devils, maintaining 190 clean sheets — the most in the club’s illustrious history.
