After the setback, the Nigerian international reportedly departed training early, according to the Partenopei.
According to the team’s website, Osimhen has a sprained right ankle and had to leave training early.
According to a second source, the 24-year-old hurt himself in a practice match when he tangled with the team’s newest player, Nathan.
He hobbled off the field, his face contorted in anguish, and immediately put an ice pack on his injured foot.
The forward is not expected to miss a lot of time.
