Alexis Mac Allister, a recent addition to Liverpool’s roster, has been tipped by former Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero to win the Premier League’s Player of the Year Award this season.
This summer, Allister moved from Brighton to Liverpool for an alleged cost of €42 million.
Aguero predicted the 24-year-old midfielder Alexis Mac Allister (via All About Argentina) to win the honor this year.
Allister was also a key figure in Argentina’s triumphant 2022 World Cup performance in Qatar.
The 24-year-old set up Angel Di Maria for the winning goal in Argentina’s penalty shootout victory over France in the tournament final.
However, previous year’s winner, Erling Haaland of Manchester City, scored 36 goals and took home the trophy.
