Despite finishing with only nine players after extra time, Al-Nassr won the Arab Club Champions Cup thanks to two goals from Cristiano Ronaldo.
The 38-year-old Portuguese striker was instrumental as Al-Nassr rallied to defeat Al-Hilal 2-1.
After Michael took the lead, Ronaldo equalized for Al-Nassr before the Reds sent off Abdulelah Al-Amri and Nawaf Boushal.
In the opening half of extra time, though, Ronaldo scored again to clinch his first trophy since making his expensive move.
Just two days before his team’s Saudi Pro League debut against Steven Gerrard’s Al-Ettifaq, the five-time Ballon d’Or winner was taken off after a collision with five minutes left.
The forward who has played for Real Madrid, Manchester United, and Juventus agreed to a move to the Saudi Pro League in December and was instrumental in his team’s second-place finish.
