Paris Saint-Germain has agreed to transfer Brazilian striker Neymar to Saudi Pro League club Al-Hilal for around 90 million euros (£77.6 million) plus add-ons.
The transfer is contingent on the 31-year-old passing a medical exam and completing all appropriate documentation.
Neymar, who joined PSG in 2017 for a world record sum of 222 million euros, was left out of the team for Saturday’s Ligue 1 match against Lorient.
He was not in coach Luis Enrique’s plans for the upcoming season.
His departure also fits with PSG’s aim of moving away from the ‘Galacticos’ period of recruiting high-profile players for large prices and high wages, with Lionel Messi leaving the club earlier this summer.
